Everland, South Korea's largest theme park, will introduce a set of capybara triplets born late last month to the public Thursday, it said Wednesday.

The pups were born Sept. 28, each weighing about 1 kilogram, to parents Dotom and Dutum, both born in 2024. The trio is healthy and growing up well under the care of zookeepers and veterinarians, the park said.

The triplets will be on view at Ppuppa Town, the park's baby animal zone, where visitors can see them alongside their parents. Everland also plans to hold a naming contest for them.

Capybaras, the world's largest rodents, live along rivers and wetlands in South America and are often dubbed the animal kingdom's social butterflies for their ability to get along with ducks, turtles, monkeys and other species.
